Complete rules and conditions for participating in WizardTrader tournaments.
Important Notice
WizardTrader is a skill-based competition platform. All trading is done with virtual funds — no real cryptocurrencies are bought or sold. This does not constitute gambling or investment advice.
1.General provisions
These rules govern the conditions of participation in fantasy crypto trading tournaments organized by the WizardTrader platform (hereinafter “the platform”).
By registering, the participant agrees to these rules and the Terms of Service.
2.Eligibility
Anyone over 18 years of age can participate. One account per person.
The platform reserves the right to restrict access from certain jurisdictions where applicable laws prohibit similar services.
3.Tournament format
Tournaments have a fixed start and end time. Each participant receives the same amount of virtual capital ($100,000 USD).
3.1 Duration
Typically 5–7 days. The exact dates are listed on the tournament detail page.
3.2 Virtual portfolio
Each player starts with $100,000 in virtual funds. No real money is traded.
3.3 Tradable assets
BTC, ETH, SOL, and other assets as specified per tournament. Prices come from Binance in real time.
3.4 Trading styles
Both long and short positions are allowed. Maximum leverage is 20x.
4.Ranking criteria & scoring
The winner is determined by the final equity of the virtual portfolio at the end of the tournament. The participant with the highest equity wins.
Rankings are calculated automatically after the tournament ends.
5.Prohibited behavior & fair play
Participants must compete fairly. The following is prohibited:
Exploiting platform bugs
Any intentional exploitation of technical errors.
High-risk end-of-tournament manipulation
Opening extremely leveraged positions in the last minutes with the sole intent to gamble on volatility.
Account sharing
Lending your account to another person.
Multiple accounts
One person may have only one account.
Automated bots or scripts
Only manual trading through the platform interface is allowed.
Collusion
Coordination between multiple participants to manipulate results.
Violations may result in disqualification, account suspension, and forfeiture of rewards.
6.Rewards & payouts
Each tournament has a reward pool. The prize distribution (number of paid places and their shares) may vary per tournament and is displayed on the tournament detail page.
Rewards are paid in USDC on the Polygon network to the wallet address the player sets in their profile.
If the player does not have a valid wallet address set, the reward payout may be delayed or forfeited.
7.Data & privacy
Details about data processing are in our Privacy Policy.
8.Liability & final provisions
The platform is provided “as is.” We are not liable for losses caused by platform downtime, data feed errors, or third-party services.
We reserve the right to modify these rules. Changes take effect upon publication on the platform.
9.Treasury transparency
All entry fees flow into a single on-chain treasury wallet on the Polygon network. Every deposit and payout is publicly verifiable:
Prize payouts are sent from the same wallet directly to winners' addresses set in their profile.
